Family Tree Quilt

I made this quilt for my Grandma's 90th birthday. I used log cabins and my own design. As you can see in the first image, the quilt is the size of a queen bed. I used pictures from all the members of our family starting with my Grandparents, their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. It was very special to see Grandma's face when I give it to her.

The quilt also has 3 tulips that represent my children, a heart-shape with my grandparents initials, four humming birds that represent movement and the four cardinal points because in a large family everybody finds a different path in life.
