Over the past days we have had received many big and little presents from our friends and neighbors; all of them were wonderful and amazing and just to think about the friendship that connects us with each one of them makes each one special and unique.
One of th0se presents was from my favorite young scientist friend, she knows me so well, she knows how much I love to clean the bathrooms and so on. Well, she knows about my love for markers and pens and she new I was missing some (a lot) of markers from my collection of alcohol markers so she asked my husband to peek in the place where I store my markers to check witch ones I was missing. So she did it, she completed my collection and I made a special storage place to put all of my Spectrum Noir Markers.
There where the arrow is you can see the packets of markers she gave me for Christmas. You can see I used a 2" punch to make a swatch of every marker.
I made the storage unit out of foam core board from the dollar store and a hot glue gun. It is just right to fit in the spaces inside my Ikea bookcase.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you a wonderful New Year 2014.
For my church Mia Maids class I made this recipe books for their Christmas present this year. I though them how to cook some mexican recipes so they can learn different foods so now they will have a place to keep all her recipes like me when I was 15.
This was a 100% hand made present, even the stamp I used for the back cover is one of my hand carved stamps inspired by Geninnes stamps
Have a wonderful Christmas Eve
I made some hair headbands and hair bows for my girls and my nices.
I used a diecut for scrapbooking by My Favorite Things. This are so nice diecuts that you can use with many different materials including all kinds of papers and fabrics
I hope you get inspired to use your scrapbook suplies in different ways.
Have a nice day
