I hope you like it. Have a nice weekend.
I just found this present my girls and I made for my Husband back in July, but I think I can share with you as an idea for a present for a Dad or a Grandpa as we did.
I just made an Accordion Book and print my pictures we took outside in the back yard.
He loves it and He keeps this in his office.
I hope you got inspired.
Hello, today I will show you a craft I learn from You Tube. The link is here but it is in Spanish because it is a girl from Spain but just watching the video you can easily understand how to do it.
I used news papers, gesso, acrylic paints, varnish and my paper flowers. After I made the baskets I primed them with gesso and then I paint them, at the end I just varnished them, some with glue and some with liquitex glazing medium, fluid medium which I like best because I used less product and they look so good.
As you can see I used them for many things and I just love them.
Thanks for visiting, have a nice week.
This is my first attempt to do Mixed Media. I used the paper flowers from last post gelatos, pan pastels, distress inks, texture paste, acrylics and walnut ink on a flat canvas. The girls makes me think on my little daughter, I think she will look a lot like in 10 years.
I hope you like it. have a nice week
At the end of the Summer we took a trip to Seattle and had a lot of fun and good memories. One of my must favorite parts of the trip was my visit to the Daniel Smith Art Supplies Store. It was Amazing and I felt like a little girl in candy land.
Look to all this Watercolor tubes. I love Daniel Smith products because they are made in the USA and they are top quality.
The store is pricy but you get what you pay for. Look at all that wonderful stuff I got.
Have a nice week.
This time I made some color sprays to use in many different ways including mix media.
I used spray bottles from oriental trading (big) walmart and a beauty supply store, Ameri Color food coloring, Perfect Pearls and distilled water.
I used an squish of the food coloring and I fill the bottles 3/4 full of water, then shake it to full dissolve and I add a bit of perfect pearls and the rest of the water and then a second shake.
One of the things I made using the sprays is colorful paper
I made single color paper and in some I mix different colors and all of them are two sided.
Have a nice week
For now I cover it with contact paper but I will use Formica for the top and sides.
This is the final spin of my storage room. The metal unit in the middle is one we had for long time, it is from Sams Club, I store my big buckets of grains and other bulk food. On top I have toilet paper and my 60 quart stainless steel canning pot.
On the top picture you can see the garlic I harvest This year (24 heads)
In the button you can see I have a microwave oven and popcorn for the move night in the basement.
This wall unit in the far is a present from some friends. it is so nice and holds a tone of cans.
I hope you like it.
Have a nice weekend.
